Dieting. Find your golden middle.

    It has been a while already since I wanted to write this post but every time I stopped myself. It's 7.40am I am sitting here in my bathrobe, finishing my coffee and getting ready for breakfast. 9am start my training and 3pm go to work.
    Then I think about my last dedication to training and healthy lifestyle. It was 8 months of constant work to see any result. Regular meals, small every four hours bla bla, It's ended up being a bad idea and very slow results. 8 months?! I should to look like secret model by then not like a chubby kid with a little bit of shape. So, what was wrong? That whole dieting thing is driving me crazy. While doing the research all over the Internet you can find out million THE BEST ways to loose weight, how to eat, what to eat, when to eat etc. It is so frustrating for me to find a golden middle from thousands vlogs from trainers, fit women and dietitians.
   One say: ,,All you have to do is to give up processed food and you will start loosing weight!" - Nope. You won't. Of course if you lived on happy meal everyday before you will start loosing but if your lifestyle is already quite healthy it is not going to happen. ,,Drink 2,5l of water...." and here we have another thousands of videos and sources to tell you which water is the best, when and how much you should to drink at once, why, when, how... From all those vlogs I took the middle- 2l of water everyday as a clean water + obviously green tea, some smoothie a day if possible or vegetables containing big % of water. ,,Eat 6 small meals a day'' - This is the biggest fairy tale I still see in a lot of videos. Please don't let yourself believe that more often you will be eating your metabolism will be faster. Like, there is no science proves for that at all it's just something that sounds smart but really never worked. And small meals.. What doesn't mean small meal? What is small enough? An apple? Or a sandwich? Should I put proteins, carbs and fats in all those meals? In some parts of Asia, people are eating only one meal per day. ONE. And they still more skinny than you, healthier. India people for example don't suffer from cancer! Why? Because they still take in their daily amount of nutrition, calories and micro elements. Using spices and natural herbs, natural food, help your body to speed up digestion.
   So yea.. as many sources you got that many answers you will get. There is some people who tried that all. Who went from radical diets to more common-sense diets and nothing helped, people who went from meat to vegan to find out that is not helping in loosing weight. So where you can find your golden middle? Well, that is totally up to you. No one can tell you should to do this and that and you loose weight because I did it and It helped. Well as you can see every single body is different, has different digestion, different tolerance and intolerance, what about hormones, some of us suffer from hypothyroidism or had a surgery to remove gallbladder. You gotta find whatever work for you and make your own diet the way you like. Now, If you have no idea where to start, good idea would be a doctor. To make sure your blood, blood sugar, hormones are okay and you ready to even get into totally different lifestyle.

   I am not a specialist, I won't give you a perfect example of being fit, I won't advise you anymore. This all I wrote is based on Internet sources and YT research. I am struggling as same as you to find my "fit". Now it's up to you if you still decide to believe diet book-a-like advises or you take your new lifestyle in your own hands and try to find your own golden middle. Make it a happy journey for you, not a punishment.

London 2016

Now, most of you will probably hate me for this post but this is just my private experience that I have got in recent trip to London. We arrived in still morning hours to welcome bad traffic from Stansted to London City where we had to take a subway to get to our first travel destination - Shrek Adventure and London Eye placed nearby all other attractions like Big Ben.

 I expected really - I don't know why - that water in main river going through the whole London, being one of tourist attractions, will be less polluted and em.. brighter than brown-ish.
 Big Ben it is. Huge tower when you stand close by it and look up you can get a bit dizzy.
 Shrek adventure- that was fun! If I would be 10 years younger it would be incredible experience for me but was fun then anyways! And then photo shoot with different animation scenes...
Everything seemed to be so grey. maybe because of autumn and huge amount of pollution which is kinda understandable when you are going to see such a metropolis.However it does make a impression on you.

  Wax museum... People are queuing for ages just for that and I gotta tell you, indeed, there is a lot of great quality wax figures, sometimes details are incredible!! But I think It was anything better than Wax museum in Dublin we have been to twice!!! Much cheaper and bigger too? But I guess that's already kinda brand issue - when some brand gain a value then prices go up. Definitely not worth a second visit, however, a nice experience.

Best part of London appeared in dark. When the christmas lights brighten up the streets it felt really awesome. Cork is definitely very far away from that huge electricity bill. It's totally worth it though.

This was totally.. not worth it? Basically what it is - You get a lift up - you having a 2 minutes talk about the place - you take a pictures - toy go down and go home. If you visit London and you are in hurry - just drop it. You will literally see 2 rooms and two tunnels with a bit of glass in the floor.
And this was it. This was the most important point of the whole tour for me. As we don't have anything like that in Ireland. Jamie's Oliver Restaurant. I managed to pick up the best dish and drink from all three we ordered so I was very happy. Now time for Gordon Ramsay's restaurant anytime soon.. I now, I am getting spoilt.

In general, the trip was very intensive and fast so we were basically running from place to place to see as much as possible so we couldn't fully enjoy it until we got some good sleep. Definitely it was time worth spend with my friends I know for a long time and we usually don't have a time to hang out together. As they say, I might get into the Paris syndrome with London (London syndrome) [ psychological disorder exhibited by some individuals when visiting or vacationing to Paris, as a result of extreme shock resulting from their finding out that Paris is not what they had expected it to be - wikipediawhich I really regret cause It was on my bucket list for such a long time.

Oh well, there is always another time to go, maybe different season of the year London would greet me much better :)

Ibiza 2016

Ibiza was more pretty than Portugal but first 3 days we were just sleeping and dying around our hotel. Why dying? We have no idea until now why we were completely out of energy so we suffer lack of photos as well. Well, there is no much to see in there to be honest, it's just night life place indeed.
 Our hotel area, swimming pool and tennis table.. It was really big place including mini golf and two bars, restaurant, it's own beach and beach volleyball
 I loved the idea of that restaurant. As you can see on the pictures they treat you nicely as you have choice you would like to have your drink delivered to the waterfront seats or into the special romantic place as this huge matressed bed. What if people will drink too much on that? Have to be really hot there..
 Night water taxi from San Antonio Bay to San Antonio in search for a nightlife.. What I mean by a nightlife? We went at 11pm and there was only people eating in the pubs not even thinking about pubs yet. Apparently, It's worth t enter the nightclub around 2-3am to expect some people in there. Also, the huge amount of clubs in there and high prices make people choose only special deal and cheaper offers not better quality or anything like that.
 Night out.
 Next day we went for cruise party which means basically a party on the boat. We had to go tired and hangovered from one part of Ibiza to another just to get that boat from there. Was it worth? For me not. It lasted only 2-3 hours, people started throwing up when we barely left the coast and maybe I was just tired from last night but for me partying in the full sun in 35*C is just not fun anymore?
 A bit of San Antonio and water taxi during the day.. such a clever solution!!!!
 Then we tried parasailing. The most terrifying thing in my life. And it was MY idea to actually do it. F*cking hell. I thought we will be up maybe 50 meters, not 200. Every wind blow increased my blood pressure by 100 :D Good to remember but never ever again :D

 San Antonio coast is quite pretty if you think about all those boats going through daily there is a lot of fish in there and water is warmer than the air. You just don't want to leave the water once you go in.
 Hahaha that is just a prove for me how my diet and exercises died within those 14 days of holidays. Constant eating and trying new things overtook amount of walking and exploring. As you see my beach body is more like bigbellybody but I am back to work on it.
And this was small tour around San Antonio and San Antonio Bay as those were the places we have seen the most of. Summarizing if I would go there, like, 4 years ago I would probably rock every night and enjoy myself as a crazy party monster but now as my life changed so much and I am different person now it was just quite not my 'spot'. Obviously, beautiful beaches, prefect weather and great water makes this place great for a holiday escape but If you look for a good restaurants, reasonable prices and calm night walks around the beach, maybe you should to pick up resort different than San Antonio.
